SEASON 2020

2020 marks the twentieth year in Chilly history. The new committee has been working hard to ensure the club continues to thrive and build on last year’s successes. Most notably, these include; the establishment of our first women’s team and Phat Chilly’s gold medal at the Division II Australian Ultimate Championships.

For season 2020, the club is conducting tryouts for two Open teams; Hot and Fresh Chilly, and one Women’s team; Spicy Chilly. The form for players seeking to express their interest in competing for one of these teams is now open.

Players will be expected to attend all tournaments of which the relevant team is a participant. For Hot and Spicy Chilly this will likely mean participation in the newly announced Ultimate Australia Tour 2020 (see: https://afda.com/p/ultimate-australia-tour-2020 for details). For Fresh Chilly, this will likely mean Victorian-based tournaments and Division II Nationals in Canberra.

Other Teams

For those wishing to be part of Phat Chilly, please contact Steve Campbell: stevecampbell@caulfieldgs.vic.edu.au.

Chilly will also be offering development opportunities to players that do not wish to commit to a full club season. Details about this new initiative will be made available via the Chilly Ultimate Club Facebook page and website in the coming weeks. Note that this will replace Wild Chilly as the club’s principal means to support developing players.
